Not just another sign
Yes, we have designed our own seal, and we are looking forward to finding as many businesses as possible. But of course, only those who deserve it. There will be more and more and it is really exciting to be a part of it!
Currently, you will find the Team Fresh Green Business Sigel especially in the interview posts of the Green Business series. Why? Because we want to highlight those companies and make it easy to recognise sustainable companies, to be inspired by their founder’s stories and to support them or start something on your own!
What makes a Green Business?
Of course, there are many things in a company that can be designed sustainably. What matters to us, because we think that only this really makes a difference, is the sustainability in the value chain.

A Green Business:
- is an existing company.
- focuses on the sustainability of the company. This means that the future should be improved by the corporate purpose rather than being damaged.
- takes on social responsibility.
- has the goal to pave the way for a modern and successful future.
No half things…
Of course, the sustainability of a company should not be limited to just one sub-area to be considered as green business.
For example, a shoe that is made out of fair and sustainably produced material is not considered sustainable if the adhesive used for attachment does not meet these criteria.
The same is true for “green washing” in the fashion industry and of course, an electricity supplier is only a green business if he sells 100% real green electricity, not a mish-mash of purchased with a small share of sustainably produced.
There is certainly an example in every industry of how “the sustainability trend” is misused to attract customers. If you have examples for us, please leave us in the comments!
Inspiration & Motivation
We will do our best to filter out these companies carefully and give you only information about the really interesting ones.
And all that for inspiration and motivation! Two things that we all can experience and that are the basis for sustainable change!
Green Businesses & Readers, we look forward to seeing you!
