Who am I?
As a native of Lower Bavaria, I’ve lived in Vienna since 2017 with my beautiful girlfriend. Being a very sensitive and empathetic person, I have made it the most important priority in my life to follow my heart… I can speak from experience: only that makes me really happy!
And here we are with the question that we’ve all probably asked ourselves at some point in our lives: Am I happy? Who am I or who do I want to be? What is really important to me?
All these questions have been roaming around in my head and heart for a long time and somehow I’ve always felt too sensitive and often had the feeling, I was questioning too much.
This was followed by many ups and downs. Experiences. Theses that I made which felt like THE SOLUTION, only to discard them two weeks later. In my family, I’ve always been the one who does everything a little bit differently.
Even though it was rather painful at first, my “being different” feels like one of my greatest strengths today and that fills me with pride. I believe that our supposed otherness is our most precious treasure. The treasure that we can all discover in ourselves.
I’m so glad I don’t do things because I think I have to do them. I want to live an authentic life and end up saying that I did what my HEART told me to do.
So over time, step by step, I have found my way and today I know what I really need. I have a feeling for what is really important to me. I´m aware of my strengths and my weaknesses; what functions well and what makes me happy.
Tools like “The Work” by Byron Katie, various books and meditation have helped me as well as to understand that not everything can and must always be “good”. Once we understand that life also has its downsides and we really start to let everything be as it is… when we truly accept ourselves as we are: that we don’t have to be “perfect” and therefore have always been perfect. Love THE NOW as it is. Then, in my opinion, we’re already well on our way to achieving peace in ourselves and – as a natural consequence – in the world.
“If you feel like you don’t fit into this world, it’s because you’re here to change it.” – Unknown
Knowing that so many people out there feel they are alone or not understood, don’t fit into this world or see no way out of their emotional pain, I have made it my job to remind people who they really are. To tell them that they are not alone. I want to share my experiences and tools and help make this world a more harmonious place. Nothing makes me happier than the feeling that I was able to support someone during their struggles.
“The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.” – Paulo Coelho
Although it sounds like a kitschy quote, these few words are part of my guiding principles that shape my life every day. Most of the time, I think we are unaware of the great power which lies within us. Since I am very spiritual, believe that we are connected with everything and everyone and that our inner world determines the outer one, I am sure that really every single one of us can make a difference. Every day. A laugh, a good deed or the decision about what lands on my plate. At the end of the day, supposedly small acts create big waves. Perhaps we were able to inspire a person with a kind word or could change their whole world with one loving embrace.
… is to be a light for others and thus reminding them of their own glow. To help others do what I think we have come here for: to experience ourselves in our full spiritedness, lightness and love.
